What do you think is the best region of the world for skiing out of these: Western Canada Eastern Canada Pacific Northwest California Utah Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming Colorado New England Upstate NY New Zealand/Australia Scandinavia Pyrenees French Alps Italian Alps Swiss Alps Austrian Alps Asia Eastern Europe I have personally skied New England (Just about every major resort unless you count Saddleback), Utah (Alta, Snowbird, Deer Valley, Canyons), Western Canada (Whistler Blackcomb), and Colorado (Steamboat and Telluride) I will be skiing the 3 valleys in France this February, I can't wait to try out Europe New England seems to be great when there's good recent snowfall, but it can also be very icy and crowded compared to places out west. I felt that with better snow this would be the greatest place to ski on Earth. The best trails seemed to be cruisers, bowls, and glades. Colorado is packed with great ski resorts and classic rocky mountain charm. I loved the steeps, glades, and cruisers. Utah was my favorite place I ever skied. The snow was unbelievable and skiing up in Alta with a backdrop of Little Cottonwood Canyon and Salt Lake City made me feel like I was on top of the world. The best trails in utah seemed to be bowls, steeps, and glades. But anyway, what are your favorite parts of the world you've skied in?... Read More »
